Yelo Bank participated in the "WEPs Lessons Learned" workshop organized by the UN for companies that have signed the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs). The workshop discussed the benefits of applying WEPs principles within companies and the challenges they face. At the "WEPs Awards" ceremony, Yelo Bank was recognized by the UNDP Baku office as a "Corporate Leader in Increasing Social Involvement and Supporting Gender Equality".
The Principles for the Empowerment of Women, developed by the UN Global Compact and UN Women, inform companies about international labor and human rights standards, encouraging them to promote gender equality and women's empowerment. As a signatory, Yelo Bank actively promotes gender equality within the company and supports various projects focused on women's education and professional development.
