According to clauses 102.1.22-3 and 102.1.22-4 of the Azerbaijan Republic Tax Code, starting from January 1, 2024, income from new deposits held in the national currency (AZN) by individuals will be exempt from income tax:

- The full amount of interest income when the deposit is placed for a period of 18 months or more, and the principal amount of the deposit is not withdrawn earlier than 18 months – for a period of 3 years
